GREAT ALLEGHENY PASSAGE and C & O CANAL TOWPATH.
10 fearless boys and 8 faithful leaders pedaled from McKeesport (near Pittsburgh) to Washington D.C., covering 330 miles along the spectacular Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal Towpath rail trails. They endured heat, humidity, bugs, mud, washed out trail sections, flat tires, and a drenching thunderstorm.
All the riders enjoyed swimming, sight-seeing, incredible views, great food, history lessons, devotional lessons on character, camaraderie, and an unforgettable tour of Arlington National Cemetery at the conclusion of the ride.
